ISA please reinstate the 50 knot speed record
December 2, 2008 Events No CommentsThis is just not right.
Several kiters have passed the 50 knot speeds in an event that was sanction by the ISA (International Sailing federation). They collect their $7000 euro fee to make sure it was on the up and up. Now that a kiteboarder is the fast watercraft and the first to break the 50 knot barrier the ISA is saying kiteboarders are not eligible.
